تم تحسين دقة الشاشة وقوامها بشكل ملحوظ لتناسب منصات الألعاب عالية الدقة، مما أدى إلى ظهور الشخصيات والخلفيات بتفاصيل أكثر حيوية من أي وقت مضى في Resident Evil. لن تقتصر روعة الرسومات على ذلك فحسب، بل أُعيد تصميم المؤثرات الصوتية المشوقة بالكامل مع دعم الصوت المحيطي 5.1 لأجواء لعب أكثر فخامة. يمكن للاعبين الاختيار بين وضع الشاشة العريضة 4:3 الكلاسيكي أو وضع الشاشة العريضة 16:9 المخصص الذي يتمرر مع الحركة. يبقى نظام التحكم الكلاسيكي لمحبي أسلوب اللعب الأصلي، أو يتوفر نظام بديل حيث تتحرك الشخصية مباشرة في اتجاه عصا التحكم التناظرية.
